Hey everyone, I'm Ricky, the founder of Dual Desires!

Being part of the LGBTQ+ community has always been a big part of my life. My mom has been happily married to an amazing woman for many years, and my dad has also been happily married to a man for many years. So growing up around love, acceptance, and people being themselves has really shaped who I am today.

As a bisexual man, I've also been part of the couples and swinging lifestyle for many years. But one thing I always struggled with was finding a place where bisexual men in relationships could truly feel comfortable exploring that side of themselves without judgment or pressure.

That's really what inspired me to start Dual Desires. What began as small house parties in 2020 has grown into an incredible community with events, hotel and resort takeovers, travel experiences, and so much more.

My goal has always been pretty simple: bring people together, create a place where everyone feels welcome, and give bisexual and bi-curious men and their partners the freedom to connect, explore, play, and just be themselves.

I'm proud of how far we've come, but even more excited about where we're going. For me, Dual Desires is about much more than throwing great parties. It's about building friendships, creating connections, and making a positive difference in people's lives.

Dr. Laura Bennett-Cook

Clinical Sexologist & Sexuality Educator

Dr. Laura Bennett-Cook brings knowledge, experience, and a sex-positive perspective to the Dual Desires community.

As a clinical sexologist, sexuality educator, and speaker, she specializes in human sexuality, bisexuality, relationships, communication, and alternative relationship dynamics.

Through educational workshops, podcasts, and open conversations, Dr. Laura helps our members feel more comfortable asking questions, exploring their interests, and building meaningful connections without judgment.

Her involvement with Dual Desires includes educational programming, community discussions, and opportunities for members to connect, explore, and learn.

Jaye

Podcast & Social Media

Jaye has been with Dual Desires since day one. In fact, we like to call him customer number two! He's been part of this journey from the very beginning and believes in our community just as passionately as Ricky does.

Jaye puts his heart and soul into helping Dual Desires grow. From co-hosting the Dual Desires Podcast to editing episodes, managing social media, and taking care of our digital content, he helps bring our stories, events, and community to life.

Bonnie

Office Manager & Bookkeeping

Bonnie and her amazing husband have been part of the Dual Desires family since day one! From the very beginning, they would make the five-hour drive each way from southern Georgia every month just to attend our events throughout Florida and be part of the community.

Like Ricky and the rest of our team, Bonnie truly believes in what we're building at Dual Desires. She's always been willing to lend a helping hand and has become an important part of helping our community grow.

As our Office Manager, Bonnie helps keep the behind-the-scenes operations organized. From bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities to helping everything stay on track, she's the one helping keep things straight so Ricky can focus on being creative and bringing new experiences to our community.
